Seventh Annual Egg-cellent Egg Hunt
at Carnegie Museum of Natural History
Extended Hours Easter Weekend

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania… Celebrate spring at Carnegie Museum of Natural History by learning about egg-laying animals from prehistoric and modern times! On Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m.—1 p.m., children 12 and under are invited to take a free scavenger hunt map and use it to visit hands-on exploration stations throughout the museum, where touchable natural history specimens await. Interact with museum nature experts, answer intriguing egg-related riddles, and earn stamps and small prizes. The Egg-cellent Egg Hunt is free with museum admission; no registration is required. Scavenger hunt map and prizes are available to the first 600 children.

Museums open Monday, April 1
No fooling! Visit Carnegie Museum of Natural History on April 1 and take advantage of special Monday hours, when the museum will be open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Carnegie Museum of Art is also open during this time.

Hours for Easter weekend are:
Thursday, March 28, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. (free general admission on Thursday, 4–8 p.m.);
Friday, March 29, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.;
Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.;
Easter Sunday, March 31, closed;
Monday, April 1, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
