We Are Nature Tours - Available only for a limited time!

We Are Nature
Tour (60 minute, $9 for K-12 and College, $11 Seniors, $15 Adults)
Pollution, climate change, habitat alteration, extinction - how can the history of the Earth can help us understand our present situation? We Are Nature uses interactive exhibits and specimens from our hidden collection to explore the interconnected relationship between humans and our environment. Examine how we have changed the planet and the important role you can play in collective action for a sustainable future.

Future Thinking Lab
Tour add-on (60 minute, $3 for all ages)
Take a deeper dive into local environmental challenges, and flex your creative muscles to envision future solutions. This workshop uses hands-on activities to investigate how natural history can inspire sustainable innovation. Customize your workshop by choosing a focus: Flooding & Green Infrastructure; Climate Change & Energy Infrastructure; or Food & Agriculture Infrastructure.

Register early!

Field trips require four weeks’ advance registration. 

September–March Scheduling visits September through March has its advantages—more flexibility with program scheduling, additional support from museum staff, and a more leisurely experience in the galleries.

April–June is a prime season for school group visits. Book early to ensure you receive your preferred dates!

Group Discounts

To receive group pricing, you must have a group of ten or more and your visit must be scheduled in advance through the Group Visits Office. Smaller groups pay the ten person minimum. Member discounts do not apply to guided tours.

Inclement Weather

Should hazardous conditions result in cancellation, announcements will be made on television stations KDKA, WTAE, and WPXI.
