Anaconda Watch Party
April 30, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Event Navigation

Join museum scientists for Virtual Movie Party at 7pm on Friday, April 30th, 2021. Watch the movie at home (via streaming site or DVD both will work great) and join our live Zoom link to hear commentary from some of Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s top scientists. We’ll bring the science; you bring the snacks!
Prior to the watch party, decide how you want to watch the film at home. Anaconda (1997) is available to rent digitally on Amazon prime, Youtube, and other services. Using DVDs (or VHS tapes for us over 21 folks) will work just the same. Be sure that you are set up and ready to watch by 6:45pm on April 30th. This is also the time to grab drinks and snacks!
A 2nd device (ipad, laptop, or phone) will be needed for viewing the scientific content from our staff. The Zoom call will open at 6:45pm to allow everyone to get connected and ready to start. Carnegie Museum of Natural History hosts will introduce the scientists and offer further instruction for how to get started. Our team will be monitoring the chat box for questions
We’ll all start watching the movie at 7:00 p.m. Once you’ve hit ‘play’ on your movie from home, sit back and enjoy your viewing of Anaconda complete with museum scientist commentary.
If you have registration problems, please email ProgramRegistration@CarnegieMuseums.org to register.
