All aboard! Take a journey on The Unsinkable Ship at Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s Titanic… After Dark on Friday, December 14th from 6-10 p.m.
Join us for a night of titanic proportions as you learn more about The Wonder Ship and its ties to Pittsburgh. Get drawn like a French girl by caricaturists, learn to dance an Irish jig at the Grand Ball with Shovlin Academy of Dance, sip on cocktails featuring spirits from Wigle Whiskey, and learn to play card games that guests might have played on the Titanic.
Re-live your favorite moments from the 1997 Titanic film, experience water the same temperature as the ocean night the Titanic sank, and dance the night away to tunes provided by DJ Bill Jakub of PVU Event Group!
Learn all about the RMS Titanic’s ties to Pittsburgh local historians. Uncover why the Fricks canceled their trip on the Titanic with speakers from The Frick Pittsburgh. Enjoy a music-filled presentation from University of Pittsburgh history professor Bernie Hagerty on the history of Irish immigration and the Irish on board the Titanic.
