Boy Scouts Indian Lore Merit BadgeExamine artifacts from the Tlingit, Hopi, Lakota, and Iroquois in Alcoa Foundation Hall of American Indians. Compare and contrast traditional dwellings, tribal government, language, and many other aspects of these diverse cultures past and present.

Merit Badge pre-requisites: Indian Lore 3a

Merit Badge requirements met during workshop: Indian Lore 1, 2, 3d, 4a or 4c, 5a or 5f

Registration fee includes same-day admission to Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History.  Required adult chaperones may register at no charge: one BSA registered adult per five scouts for groups or one BSA registered adult per independent scout. Chaperone requirements ensure that all workshop activities maintain two-deep leadership.
