Science and Nature Lecture with Rose-Marie Muzika

Join us as we explore seasonal natural history phenomena of Powdermill Nature Reserve! A lecture will be given in the Parker Room at 2 pm, followed by a short outdoor exploration. Lectures are structured for adult audiences, and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Program participants and visitors are expected to adhere to the public health guidance and Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh procedures in place at the time of their visit.

Trees are all around us, and they have a lot to say if we take the time to listen. Explore what we can learn about a forest from the tree species composition and hear some of the stories that trees can tell.
