Learn about the archaeology collection, its connection to local history, and how we care for cultural material at Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Amy Covell-Murthy (she/her) handles the Museum’s Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) compliance and studies the importance of Human Remains Policies in collecting institutions. Let’s talk about the intersectionality of cultural respect and research!
Lectures are structured for adult audiences, and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
