Bone Hunters’ Quarry

  • First Floor

Dig for bones and make discoveries just like a real paleontologist in Bone Hunters’ Quarry. This interactive exhibit is designed to replicate searching for fossils at Dinosaur National Monument in Utah, where many Carnegie Museum of Natural History dinosaurs were discovered. Grab some protective goggles, a chisel, a brush, and chip away at rock matrix to reveal realistic fossil casts buried below!

For children 10 and under, accompanied by an adult. All participants must wear protective goggles.
