Carnegie Museum of Natural History Status:
To help mitigate the spread of the covid-19 virus, Carnegie Museum of Natural History (along with Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Science Center, and the Warhol Museum) and Powdermill Nature Reserve are closed for an extended period.
The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented health emergency, and we’re committed to following the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, and state and regional health officials.
During this unprecedented closure, the four Carnegie Museums are staying digitally connected with the community and offering a host of online resources. Please check this page for regular updates and new resources from Carnegie Museum of Natural History. For information on how to enjoy all four museums from home, visit Carnegie Museums From Home.
Resources are available for educators who are distance teaching or parents homeschooling.
